Thank you to all of the clients who's cats were part of our recent publication into the long-term treatment of arthritis with anti-inflammatory drugs. This is the largest and longest study of it's type ever published. The medication we looked at has helped countless patients enjoy a more comfortable life when suffering from chronic aches and creaky joints. The hope is this publication and further studies continuing from this data will promote awareness of arthritis in cats and give clinicians more guidence in prescribing medications of this sort to older cats. Dr. Ali Montgomery - Feline Locum 5th-19th September

Richard & Amy will be away from 4th - 20th September. Richard has been invited to present his research findings into the control of osteoarthritis in aged cats at the ECVIM conference in Spain. This is a continuation from the clinic's recent publications on Feline osteoarthritis.

We are very lucky to have secured the fabulous services of one of our friends and feline colleagues - Dr. Alison Montgomery whislt we are away. Dr Sally will of course be here, so rest assured, the Clinic & your cats are in great hands.

China & Hong Kong ISFM Lectures

Richard has just returned from a week of lectures in Asia on behalf of the International Society of Feline Medicine (www.isfm.net). Richard was asked to replace one of the key note speakers at late notice and also in part as he had already experienced practice in China after last years voluntary teaching visit with Vets Beyond Borders.
